Locating Machines

Our customer called saying they needed a very large print of their factory floor, and smaller pieces of each machine so they could explore different layouts. The machines needed to stick to the big print.

We printed three of the floor blueprint in 56×70″ size and glossy laminated it. We then printed three sheets of white window cling, which sticks to the gloss lam print nicely.

They were able to test a number of different layouts side by side, and fuss with the possibilities. It worked great!

You might say you can do this on your CAD system, and you would be right. But to have three different layouts side by side, and in such large size, was a distinct advantage. No matter how big your CAD screen is, you can’t match an old fashioned setup like this!
