Installation of custom wallpaper is a little different than installing store bought wallpaper, but it’s not really that hard. We’ve even got a video that shows how it’s done.
What’s different about custom wallpaper is that it’s not usually a repeating pattern. We are typically printing photos or digital art when we print custom wallpaper. Typically you’ll get our custom wallpaper in 48″ wide strips.
We print the custom wallpaper with an inch of overlap. You put the first piece up, and the second piece overlaps the first by an inch. You cut through both layers, removing the excess from above and below. When you brush it back down, you have a butt joint that matches perfectly, even if you didn’t cut a straight line. The seam in your custom wallpaper will be all but invisible.
